
LARK & OWL LTD. TOUR BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Booking & Payments
1.1 A non-refundable deposit of €500 per person is required to secure a place on any Lark & Owl Ltd. tour.
1.2 The final balance must be paid 90 days prior to departure.
1.3 Tour balance payments can be made in instalments before the final due date.
1.4 A booking is considered confirmed when Lark & Owl Ltd. has received the deposit and issued a confirmation email.
1.5 For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation & Refunds
2.1 If cancellation is due to travel restrictions imposed by the Irish government or the government of the client’s country, Lark & Owl Ltd. will offer a tour deferment or a flexible gift card instead of a refund.
2.2 If Lark & Owl Ltd. cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered an alternative tour or a full refund of the tour price only. No additional expenses will be covered.
2.3 Cancellations made by the client for any other reason will be subject to the following charges:

120+ days before departure: Deposit is non-refundable; balance payment is 75% refundable (excluding non-refundable prepaid elements).

Less than 120 days before departure: Deposit and balance payment are both non-refundable.
2.4 No refunds are available for unused portions of a tour once it has commenced.
2.5 If cancellation is covered by the client’s travel insurance, a claim should be made directly with their insurer.
3. Accessibility & Special Requirements
3.1 Our tours require a moderate level of physical activity. Clients must be able to board and disembark transportation independently or have a companion to assist.
3.2 Some venues, sites, and accommodations may not be wheelchair accessible.
3.3 Clients with medical conditions or dietary restrictions must notify Lark & Owl Ltd. at the time of booking. A medical certificate may be required.
3.4 Lark & Owl Ltd. reserves the right to remove a participant from a tour if they are unable to meet physical requirements or pose a safety risk.
4. Travel Insurance
4.1 Travel insurance is strongly recommended and should cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, lost luggage, and public liability.
4.2 Clients are responsible for ensuring their insurance policy covers all activities included in their tour.
5. Liability & Responsibility
5.1 Lark & Owl Ltd. acts only as an agent for third-party service providers (accommodation, transport, activities) and is not liable for their services.
5.2 Clients must comply with local laws and customs in Ireland.
5.3 Lark & Owl Ltd. reserves the right to remove a participant from a tour if their behaviour is disruptive or unsafe. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
6. Photography & Media
6.1 Clients consent to Lark & Owl Ltd. using photographs and video taken during tours for promotional purposes.
6.2 If a client does not wish to be included in media content, they must notify Lark & Owl Ltd. in writing before the tour begins.
7. Force Majeure
7.1 Lark & Owl Ltd. is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

Extreme weather conditions

Pandemics or government-imposed travel restrictions

Acts of terrorism, war, civil unrest, or natural disasters
7.2 If a tour is cancelled due to force majeure, clients may be offered an alternative tour or a partial refund based on recoverable costs.
8. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
8.1 Complaints must be reported to the Lark & Owl Ltd. representative during the tour to allow for resolution.
8.2 If a complaint remains unresolved, it must be submitted in writing within 28 days of tour completion.
8.3 All disputes will be subject to Irish law and the jurisdiction of Irish courts.
9. Additional Terms
9.1 Clients are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the tour start and end points.
9.2 Clients must have a valid passport and any required visas for travel.
9.3 Smoking is prohibited on all Lark & Owl Ltd. tours.
9.4 Luggage is limited to two soft-sided bags or suitcases per person.
9.5 Pets are not permitted on tours. Service animals may be accommodated upon request, subject to availability.
9.6 Gift cards issued by Lark & Owl Ltd. have no expiration date, are non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
10. Updates to Terms & Conditions
10.1 Lark & Owl Ltd. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The terms in effect at the time of booking will apply.
10.2 Clients should review the latest Terms & Conditions before finalizing a booking.
